Greg Disterhoft runs the wood shop at Brook’s Bend, from which he offers a range of wood related treasures. He can build you a gazebo from locally milled lumber, a jewelry box for your next anniversary gift, or a run of cabinets for that new addition. Yay! He especially likes to build custom furniture that fits a person and a place perfectly, designed and built to last generations (really). He’s willing to try on many challenges, so don’t hesitate to ask about that dreamy idea of a new front porch with an elegant balustrade system, or a solid wood kitchen island that will make your neighbors jealous. Greg and Walker own the sawmill at Brook’s Bend, so for most projects, all of the lumber is milled on site (hardwoods and softwoods). If you have some logs at your place you would like milled for your own project, the sawmill is portable!
